Love O-gauge trains ... but don’t have the space to set up and run them?
AGHR promotes the hobby of O-gauge model railroading, is involved with the community, and is a place to enjoy running our trains. Club members bring such skills as carpentry, electrical wiring of track signals, switches and buildings, scenery construction, painting and weathering, maintenance and repair of engines and rolling stock, photography, three-point perspective and even computer technology. You don’t need to be skilled in any of these crafts to be a member of the club. And, running a train is as easy as holding a remote control!
Club members may bring their trains any time. You don’t have to own a train to become a member. The club meets every Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The public is welcome to visit the layout during these times. Several open houses are also held throughout the year. Membership dues are $30 per month to cover the use of the building, utilities, insurance and supplies. Come visit our layout to see for yourself. Our members will gladly answer your questions.
